iPhone SE Price & Specifications In Cameroon

Apple SE 2020 Comes to Cameroon: Our Take or Review

Apple introduced its long-awaited model, the iPhone SE 2020, last April. However, Apple fans in Cameroon had to wait a while for the phone to set foot in the country. The good news is the device has arrived. The phone is strikingly similar to the iPhone 8 in design.

This has drawn a lot of critics as people expected Apple to capitalize on the iPhone X design going forward. Perhaps, that was the reason for the 'cheaper' price tag levied on the iPhone SE 2020. Note that it will be launched in 3 different storage options (64GB, 128GB, and 256GB). However, things stay the same in the RAM department as you only get 3GB. While this might seem ok for Apple fans, the Android community will laugh loudly as 3GB is seen as base-level RAM configurations in low-end Android devices. Apple also proposes 3 different colors for you to choose: Black, red, and white.

The iPhone SE 2020 features include a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels. It is said to have Apple's proprietary True Tone support. Just like the iPhone 8 model, there is a home button with Touch ID support just below the device screen.

The battery is a mere 1821mAh. This will probably come with disappointing battery life. We look forward to seeing the magic iOS will do to make the screen on time look respectable.

How much does the Apple iPhone SE 2020 cost in Cameroon?

The iPhone SE 2020 will sell at 230000 CFA Francs for the base model (64GB). This translates to 155000 Naira in Nigeria or $399. However, there is a significant bump in price for the 128GB model- 270000CFA Francs ($449) or 330000CFA Francs for the 256GB model.
