Infinix Launches Note 8 and Note 8i: Prices in Cameroon

The two new Infinix smartphones were unveiled officially today - the Note 8 and Note 8i. These phones are both powered by the MediaTek Mtk Helio G80 chipset. We expect these phones to come to Cameroon soon.

These two phones are the successors of the Infinix Note 7.

Infinix Launches Note 8 and Note 8i

Note 8 has a screen size of 6.95" with a 720x1640 resolution. The display technology remains LCD. However, the touchscreen has a dual hole-punch cutout for a 16 MP selfie camera with a depth sensor beside it.

The rear houses a 64 MP primary shooter, a 2 MP depth cam, a 2 MP macro sensor, and another 2 MP so-called "AI Lens," which is gimmicky. Of course, there is a quad-LED flash.

Note 8 has a generous 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A 5,200 mAh battery powers the phone and charges at 18W. Note 8 runs Android 10. Available colors are gray, green, and blue.

The Infinix Note 8i, on the other hand, has a smaller 6.78-inch LCD screen with the exact resolution as above. Note 8i loses the secondary selfie cam. Note that the primary is downgraded to 8 MP. The 48MP Camera swaps out the 64 MP primary rear sensor... Nonetheless, everything else seems to be the same between the two.

Price Of the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i In Cameroon

There is no word on the pricing of the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i in Cameroon. Note 8 and Note 8i should sell for 130000 FCFA to 150000 FCFA in Cameroon, given the Cameroonian government's recent increase in phone tax.
