The Tecno Spark 6 Air is the latest member of the Spark series. The entry-level series is famous in Asian and African countries like Cameroon, Nigeria, and Kenya. The Spark 6 Air was launched on 30th July 2020 in India. It is still to make its way to other markets.
Although most of the Tecno Spark 6 Air specs are similar to those on the Tecno Spark 5 Air, The Tecno Spark 6 Air packs a better camera combination and a massive battery. The phone is available in 2 colors; Comet Black & Ocean Blue.
Specifications and Review of the Tecno Spark 6 Air
Display
The Spark 6 Air sports a massive 7.0 inches IPS LC display with a 720 x 1640 screen resolution. The display has a total pixel density of 256 pixels per inch and has a 20:5:9 aspect ratio. The phone has an 84.17% screen-to-body ratio, and like its predecessor, the Tecno Spark 5 Air, it features the water-drop notch.
Software & Hardware
The phone runs on Android 10 Q out of the box and Tecno’s HIOS 6.2 launcher. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with a 2 GHz base frequency and utilizes the PowerVR GE8300 graphics processor. This is the same processor on the Tecno Spark 5 Air and the Spark 5, so if you own any of the two devices, there is no need for an upgrade. Unless you’re looking to experience the HIOS 6.2 launcher.
Memory
The Spark 6 Air comes with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. There’s also a dedicated MicroSDXC slot that supports memory cards of up to 1 TB. Again, this is precisely the same case on the Spark 5 Air.

Cameras
The Spark 6 Air sports a dual-camera setup at the rear, unlike its predecessors. The phone has a 13 MP primary camera + a 2 MP depth sensor. There’s also a Dual-LED flash set up next to the lenses. On the front, the phone utilizes a single 8 MP camera.
The only difference between the Spark 6 Air and the Spark 5 Air is the 2 MP depth sensor. Only the Spark 6 Air has a depth sensor(Dual camera setup).
Battery
The Tecno Spark 6 Air has joined the Tecno Pouvoir 3 Plus with huge batteries. The Spark 6 Air is powered by a massive 6000 mAh battery. However, it comes equipped with the outdated Micro USB 2.0, and there’s no fast charging capability.
